OUR MATERIALS
After many years of other materials, we have by the summer of 2024 changed supplier to APA print & film technologies, which are known for their self-adhesive vinyl’s with good durability.
The material is specially developed for motocross and enduro driving where tough conditions place high demands on the decals. The material is of the highest quality and is used by several of the world's best riders and teams.
With the FTX-System, the decals are known to be the market's easiest to apply.
The decals are produced in two layers and since we use the same supplier for both vinyl (Base) and laminate (Finish), we maintain the same high quality regardless of which materials are chosen together.
BASE
The bottom layer of our decals (the Base) is the vinyl that is printed and below is an explanation of the different vinyl’s that we offer:
Standard: White vinyl with very good color reproduction
Silver chrome: The vinyl that gives a glossy chrome effect on all printing colors except black and white which become solid. The chrome effect is most visible in light colors, although the effect will also be shown in the dark colors. There is also the option to leave details entirely in chrome. It is important to know that the chrome effect makes the colors slightly darker than standard, which may mean that they do not match the plastic kits quite as well.
Holographic chrome: The vinyl has the same function as Silver chrome with the difference
that there is a color changing holographic effect
in the chrome.
Metallic: This vinyl gives a similar effect as painted metallic color on cars.
FINISH
After the vinyl has been printed, a laminate (Finish) is applied which makes the decals durable and we offer the following laminates:
Standard: Laminate with a high-gloss surface
Matte: Laminate with a matte surface.
Glitter: Laminate with a high-gloss surface with color-changing glitter
